ERK Film Production is an independent film company based in Iloilo City, Philippines. Since 2018, we have been producing feature films, documentaries, and artist films born from the stories of our communities. Guided by our shared belief in the power of cinema, we preserve the past, capture the present, and shape the future — nurturing regional talent, collaborating with filmmakers across the globe, and elevating audience sensibilities through meaningful and daring films.

Where regional stories glow up, go global, and occasionally give you an existential crisis—in a good way.
Founded in 2018 in Iloilo City, ERK Film Production began as a caffeine-fueled dream and a documentary that somehow premiered at the Busan International Film Festival (yes, that Busan). Things escalated from there—quickly.
We’re an independent film outfit crafting feature films, documentaries, and artist films that preserve the past, interrogate the present, and flirt boldly with the future. Our mission: champion regional talent and collaborate across borders.
What We Do (Besides Losing Sleep Over Deadlines)
We handle story development, production, and post-production with care (and the occasional controlled chaos). We’re also expanding into international co-productions because Iloilo stories deserve global passports.

Our debut Land From God premiered at Busan in 2018, unofficially launching the ERK Cinematic Universe. Since then, our films have screened at:

We’ve produced projects supported by FDCP, NCCA, and UP Visayas. Our short Solo won Best Film at the 2021 Quisumbing-Escandor Film Festival for Health and Best Short Film at the 69th FAMAS Awards.
Recent milestones include Kenneth De la Cruz’s Bulawan nga Usa (Cinemalaya 2023) and Kevin Piamonte’s first full-length feature Candè, starring JC Santos—screening at Sinag Maynila 2025 and backed by FDCP’s CreatePH Post-Production Grant.
